This website

When you sign up for release notes we keep your email address and the date. We use it only to send Jig news. When you download Jig we count the download (version, platform, country and browser type), not who you are.

The site is hosted by Vercel, which keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and browser) for security and reliability. We do not use advertising trackers.

Your Jig account

Jig is free and asks you to sign in (Google, Microsoft, GitHub or an email link). Jig Cloud keeps: your email, name and profile picture from that sign-in, your plan and organization, a random id for each computer you use Jig on, which Jig version you run on which kind of computer, and when Jig last checked in or downloaded an update. We use this to keep Jig updated, apply your plan and organization settings, and understand how many people use Jig.

Jig Cloud runs on Supabase (United States). Sign-in emails are sent by Resend.

The Jig app

Jig runs on your computer. Your projects, code, chat history and keys stay there and are never sent to Jig Cloud. When you build, Jig sends your prompts and the files the AI needs directly from your computer to the AI provider you choose (for example Anthropic or OpenAI, or your company’s Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI or Microsoft Foundry account), under that provider’s terms.

With Jig Pro, cloud backup copies your projects to your own Google Drive, OneDrive or Dropbox. Backups go straight from your computer to your drive; we cannot read them, and keys and secrets are never included.

Your choices

To delete your account, leave the release notes list or ask what we hold about you, email team@rootbrosai.com and we will delete or send it within 30 days.
