How Jig is different
v0 is the closest hosted builder to Jig’s idea, since it accepts a ChatGPT plan. The differences are the remaining credits, where the work runs and where it can be hosted.
- No builder credits at allIn Jig, your AI plan or key is the only AI bill. That includes Claude plans and API keys, which we found no way to use for building in v0.
- Local projectsEach Jig project is a folder and git repository on your machine. v0’s GitHub sync is excellent; Jig simply starts there.

Can I use my ChatGPT subscription with v0?
Yes, partly. v0 lets ChatGPT Plus and Pro subscribers count eligible responses against their ChatGPT plan, and still uses v0 credits for a platform fee per request, image generation and some agent work.
Can I use my Claude subscription with v0?
We found no option for that in v0’s documentation as of November 2026. In Jig, a Claude plan works through Claude Code.
Does Jig generate Next.js apps?
Jig starts new projects from a Vite, React, TypeScript, Tailwind and shadcn/ui template. You can import an existing Next.js project and keep working on it.
Can I move a v0 project into Jig?
Yes. Sync it to GitHub, clone the repository and import the folder into Jig.
